The Jacobus Vanderveer House sits quietly on the southbound side of Route 202/206 in Bedminster except for the first weekend in December when the house comes to life for its annual fundraiser, Colonial Christmas. This year, the show house event, now in its seventh year, has a lot to celebrate and a lot to see. There is something for everyone — children, history buffs and those who are just in the holiday spirit.
