As the name suggests, the Milford Oyster House specializes in seafood. But more to the point, it specializes in excellent seafood. Whether you order a simply prepared dish such as the evening special broiled halibut with a Dijon-herb glaze ($21.95) or one of chef Ed Cross’ inventive New American dishes like cashew-crusted Florida black grouper with pineapple salsa ($21.95), the food will arrive at the table cooked to near perfection.

Thai Tida is a relative newcomer to the Lambertville dining scene. It’s out of the way from the Main Street fray and is worth the detour. Husband-and-wife team, David and Suttida Brown run the restaurant, while their son, Jeffrey, oversees the kitchen as head chef.

Native New Jersey chef and restaurant owner, Jim Weaver, has done it again. He’s created yet another good reason to venture out to Princeton’s Forrestal Village, located just off Route 1 between Plainsboro and Princeton Township.
