Far Hills Race Meeting
The 89th annual Far Hills Race Meeting will take place on October 17 at Moorland Farms in Far Hills. This NJ landmark event gathers upwards of 50,000 spectators to experience the height of culinary skill, modern and traditional fashion and top thoroughbred jump racing. The Far Hills Race is an event for tailgaters and aristocrats, corporations and families. From the top of the hill at Moorland Farms, decorated with floral tents and themed décor, to the bottom of the hill, packed with jubilant gatherings, the Far Hills Race exemplifies New Jersey’s best. Since the ’50s, this unique event has raised more than $17 million for Somerset Medical Center. The Far Hills Race Meeting helped fund the creation of Somerset Medical’s Steeplechase Cancer Center, which is named in honor of the races.
